![]() ![]() ![]() Possible components include LEDs, resistors, a breadboard, a dot matrix display, motors, and much more. The components are the parts that allow you to create in a variety of ways. Alternatively, you can do your coding online. And, if for any reason you get a kit that doesn't, it's free to download for Windows, Mac, and Linux. All the starter kits come with the needed software. What makes Arduino kits remarkably easy to use is that you can do all of the coding on your computer and simply connect it to your microcontroller via a USB connector to make it work. The UNO board features a standard design so it can be effortlessly updated. This board will contain digital inputs/outputs, analog inputs, a timing crystal, power connections, a power regulator, a USB input, and more. If for any reason that is not what is included, be sure that the board in your kit is fully compatible with the UNO R3. The microcontroller is typically the Arduino UNO R3 board. This is where you physically build your gadget. The microcontroller is the heart of your kit. It's the variations within the last two elements (components and tutorials) that allow you to do so much and make the most of your kit. Think of each kit as its four main elements: a microcontroller, software, components, and tutorials. If you are just learning about Arduino kits, they can seem overwhelming and intimidating. Beginners can follow tutorials and experienced users can create original prototypes. So we are going to use all these in our projects. An Arduino kit is designed for all levels of users. Then we have this bow motor and then there are different capacitors. This particular jacket is the electrostatic jacket. One is like two in number and another is one again another set of bigger push to on switches. Then there are two ics which we have received. Then there is a servo motor, so hope you can read this micro server. This is the parametric display or we have this dot matrix module or a single seven segment display, and then there is also this four in one seven segment display. This is the numpad, so this is the one with the soft keys. Then there is a relay to connect it to the external high voltage supplies. We have this ultrasonic sensor to detect motion inside a room. Then there is another potentiometer, so these are two in number. So if i push it and if we rotate this knob, you can see the potentiometer also is rotating. So here, if you see there are two potentiometers one on this side another over here and then there is a push to on switch as well. Then here is another component, which is the joystick control. This is again an interesting one, so this is the rfid module which comes in this electrostatic jacket. Well then there is a slide switch, so in case we have to slide it to turn it on so thats there. So in case we have to make some noise this works. There are zener diodes and then there are push to on switches. So this is going to be the most interesting part of the entire arduino journey. Then there is a display which is the lcd display. The green and then we have the blue, oh, i have received one more set, so seems i have been lucky in this case. There is also this light, dependent, resistor, so ldr, then there are some leds, so this is yellow red. So this is the female connector and the rest of the cables are with the male connectors. Then there is the ir receiver module and the remote control which we are going to use along with this, we require a lot of jumper cables, so these actually come as a ribbon cable and i have taken out few. The kit also came with this big breadboard, so everything over here is divided into rows and then over here on the inside its all about the using of columns so well see this later. Here we have this type, a to type b, usb cable. ![]() We have this four cell holder, so this is going to supply six volts, then to program the entire kit. So this is going to be clubbed and used together now to energize the entire circuit. I have removed that and pasted it on the top of this circuit board and its going to safeguard the smd devices over here. Now this comes with lot of connecting pins on the base, and then there is a breadboard also which came with dual tape. We have this proto shield or prototype shield. This is an equivalent much cheaper than the original board, but behaves like the original itself, so this is going to be the heart of all our projects, then to club it with the external devices. Now this is not the original arduino uno. So to start with, we have this arduino uno r3 board. ![]()
